The focus of the Douglas Fourth of July Committee events have always been on children and community coming together to celebrate even when the weather turns blustery.
August ~ Back-to-School Skate
Skate those back to school blues away with your friends and neighbors at the Treadwell Ice Arena.

October 29, 2022 ~ Douglas Ghost Walk
Since around 1960 residents of Douglas have brought their children to enjoy a carnival type event at Mt. Jumbo Gym where they can play games, win prizes, choose from candy and non-candy grab bags.
Families with children 10 and under are welcome to come by Jumbo Gym on 4th Street in Douglas and get a goody bag.
