Fundraising

We raise funds from public agencies, businesses, organizations and individuals to provide support for community events.  Our fundraising efforts were aimed at planting trees along Third Street.  We spearheaded the drive to build Treadwell Ice Arena & Pioneer Pavilion in Savikko Park. These are improvements listed in the CBJ Savikko Park, Sandy Beach/Treadwell Historic Trail Master Plan.  We assisted in the preservation, bronze plaques & printing historical pamphlets of the Douglas Bell and Carronade.  Donations of three Serbian Spruce trees were given for future holiday events. We donate prizes or funds to Douglas Halloween, winter and other local events.
