Douglas 4th of July Parade
2011 Douglas Parade:
Honoring Past Fire Cheifs
Assembly Time is 1:30 pm and Parade Time is 2:00 pm starting at Gastineau School. No pre-registration or entry fee required. Cash prizes for children and floats in the parade.
Note: One-way streets from 1:00 to 5:00 pm (4th Street - South; 2nd Street - North). No parking on 3rd Street and St. Ane's Street from Gastineau School to Summers Street. PARKING IS OPEN AT THE DOUGLAS BOAT HARBOR'S LARGE PARKING LOT. No open containers or glass containers are allowed on Douglas Streets on the 4th of July.
