Flag Day Celebration
The Douglas 4th of July Committee celebrates Flag Day on June 14th each year with a community-wide patriotic display contest.
To Participate: All Douglas Property owners and renters, please decorate by Wednesday, June 14. Use our country's flag with Red, White and Blue flowers, ribbons, bunting and lights. Please leave your decorations up though July 4 to make our town festive for Independence Day. The Douglas Fire Fighters will do the judging at 5:00 PM Wednesday evening. Winners will receive a certificate. Names will be posted around town and sent in to our web site and the media.
